Your calendar is full. Coaching should make leadership easier, not add more chaos. That’s why every engagement follows a clear and focused rhythm.

  • 1. Free strategy session – A 30-minute call to understand your goals, current context, and what you’re hoping to change. We’ll both assess fit and outline your ideal coaching focus.

  • 2. Assessment & goal setting – Short pre-work and (optionally) stakeholder input to create 2–3 concrete leadership goals, plus clear measures of success.

  • 3. Coaching sessions – Regular 50–60 minute sessions (typically every 3–4 weeks) focused on real situations you’re facing, with practical tools and commitments for the weeks ahead.

  • 4. Support between sessions – Light touch check-ins and optional async support so you’re not on your own when things get challenging.

  • 5. Review & next steps – A closing reflection to capture progress, lessons, and a plan for sustaining your momentum beyond the engagement.

Who is Coaching Next Leaders best suited for?

Most clients are professionals, new managers, or emerging leaders in fast-moving organizations who want practical support, honest feedback, and a structured path to grow. You don’t need a specific title—what matters most is your willingness to reflect, experiment, and take action between sessions.

How is this different from talking to my manager or a mentor?

Managers and mentors are valuable, but they’re also part of your system. Coaching gives you a confidential, unbiased space to think, strategize, and be challenged without worrying about performance reviews or office politics. We focus on your growth, not your latest project status.

What happens in a typical coaching session?

We usually start by checking in on your progress and any commitments from the last session. Then we focus on one or two real situations you’re facing—preparing for a conversation, untangling team dynamics, or clarifying priorities. You’ll leave with new perspectives, tools, and a clear next step.

How long do coaching engagements last?

Most individual engagements run for 3–6 months, with sessions every 2–3 weeks. This gives enough time to build trust, try new approaches in real life, and see tangible progress. Organizational and team engagements are designed around your specific goals and timelines.

Is everything we discuss confidential?

Yes. Individual coaching is strictly confidential. If your organization sponsors your coaching, we may agree on high-level themes or progress updates, but we will not share specifics from our conversations without your consent.

Do you offer virtual coaching?

Yes. Most coaching sessions are held virtually over video, which allows us to work together wherever you’re based. If you’re local and prefer in-person sessions or on-site workshops, we can explore that during your strategy session.

Can my company pay for coaching?

In many cases, yes. Leadership development budgets, professional development stipends, or executive coaching funds can be used to support this work. If helpful, we can provide a proposal or overview you can share with your manager or HR team.
